The 32-bit DAC promises "greater precision, improved imaging, enhanced dynamic expression and more coherent surround performance throughout the listening environment," according to Marantz. Each model has been fine-tuned by Marantz's Sound Master to ensure an immersive experience.
In addition to the new DAC, the receivers support 1440p video passthrough with FreeSync, catering to gamers. A future firmware update will introduce Low-Latency Bluetooth LE Audio, reducing wireless listening delays. The Web Control 2.0 app allows for easy configuration from smartphones or computers, while HDMI Diagnostics 2.0 streamlines installation for custom setups.
The flagship CINEMA 50 Series 2 boasts nine channels at 110W each and includes exclusive features like the Dolby Atmos Channel Expander and Center Bi-Amp Mode for enhanced dialogue clarity. The CINEMA 60 Series 2 and CINEMA 70s Series 2 offer 7-channel configurations at 100W and 50W per channel, respectively.
