During a meeting with party counting agents, Banerjee stated,
"The TMC would win and win by 200+ seats." She urged party members, emphasizing the need to resist the
propaganda from the BJP, declaring that such polls lack credibility.
Banerjee condemned the violence against TMC workers, highlighting the
brutality faced by supporters in the electoral process. She added that her party will ensure that any irregularities, like power outages during counting, are promptly reported. Party official Abhishek Banerjee supported her claims, saying,
"the forces went into every village and lane, assaulted women and didn't spare even children." The TMC is determined to overcome these challenges and secure a majority, dismissing opposition tactics as mere attempts to influence outcomes.
"Such exit polls have no value. The 2021 and 2024 exit polls were way off the mark," she reiterated, affirming her belief in the party's strength and readiness to counter any misinformation disseminated by rivals.
