- The fresh funding will support expansion into new cities and categories, and Datashastra will be taken into international markets, beginning with the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
OORJAA, a technology-led logistics platform founded in 2019, has successfully raised Rs 9.7 crore (around $1 million) in a Series A funding round led by Equentis Angel Fund, with participation from Inflection Point Ventures.1
The Mumbai-based startup aims to utilize the new capital primarily for technology and product development, focusing on enhancing its proprietary AI and SaaS-based logistics technology stack, Datashastra. This technology supports critical functions such as route optimisation and control-tower visibility.2
OORJAA plans to strengthen its control-tower and automation capabilities to improve visibility across logistics operations, enabling more efficient management of mid-mile and last-mile networks. The fresh funding will also support OORJAA’s expansion into new cities and categories, with plans to introduce Datashastra to international markets, starting with the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
In September 2023, OORJAA raised $1.5 million in a pre-Series A round led by Micello Fund, followed by Rs 5.35 crore in a Pre-Series A 2 round in October 2023, showcasing a strong trajectory of funding and growth.
“The funding will support OORJAA's expansion into new cities and categories, while the company plans to take Datashastra into international markets, beginning with the Gulf Cooperation Council region.”
