Protesters in Jharkhand have entered the 14th day of their hunger strike, demanding the cancellation of the 14th JPSC Civil Services Examination and an independent investigation into alleged irregularities.13

A meeting is set for Friday night between the protesters and a five-member government panel, which includes ministers and the Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Ajoy Kumar Singh.5

"The Government has invited our 10-member panel to the State Guest House to hold talks. We have made it clear to the students that our agitation will continue till all our demands, including scrapping of the 14th Jharkhand Public Service Examination, are met," stated Ravindra Paswan, a leader of the JPSC-JSSC Reforms Manch.24

The protesters are adamant about their demands, which include a call for a CBI probe or an investigation by a panel of retired high court judges from outside the state.

As the hunger strike continues, the situation remains tense, with six protesters still fasting in hopes of achieving their goals.
