The GTX is described as an extreme statement of intent for future Interceptor derivatives, with varying usability on the road. David Duerden, MD of Jensen International, stated, “The Interceptor GTX is no static show car. It is a track-focused special, developed as an enhanced prototype build, which will preview upcoming Jensen models.”10
While a debut date remains unconfirmed, Duerden hinted at a reveal by the end of the year, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the original Interceptor's unveiling. The GTX will be the first new Jensen since the 2001 S-V8, which had limited production and sales.6
