Israel targets Iran’s Arak reactor and Natanz facility: nuclear threat escalates

Israel has intensified its military campaign against Iran by striking key nuclear sites, including the Arak reactor and the Natanz nuclear weapons development facility.

The Israeli military announced on Thursday that these strategic targets were hit overnight, marking a significant escalation in the conflict. This follows a series of airstrikes that have severely weakened Iran’s military leadership and nuclear program.

“In less than a week, Israel has told allies that it is further ahead in its attack than it expected to be, having killed 21 out of 22 senior military figures in the first 24 hours, and 10 out of 12 nuclear scientists,” reports indicate.

“In conventional military terms it is clear that Tehran is under extreme pressure. Israel has been able to achieve superiority over Iran’s skies at extraordinary speed, within hours of launching its surprise assault,” sources say.

This offensive has also targeted Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, with key figures eliminated, including senior military advisers and nuclear scientists, further destabilizing the regime’s command structure.

The conflict has drawn international concern, with the United Nations urging restraint and condemning civilian casualties.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has directly blamed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei for the ongoing hostilities, emphasizing the military’s resolve to continue its campaign until its objectives are met.
