Apple has launched pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, featuring the groundbreaking A20 Pro chip. The new chip achieves a remarkable 4,006 points in single-thread and 11,460 points in multi-thread Geekbench 7 benchmarks, outperforming Intel's Core i9-14900KS by 32% and AMD's Ryzen 9 9950X3D by 26% in single-thread performance.¹²³⁴

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 and the Pro Max at $1,299, with pre-orders available in over 65 countries. Customers can expect delivery on September 18. The A20 Pro chip represents a significant leap in performance, boasting a 23.3% increase in single-thread and 27.1% in multi-thread performance compared to its predecessor, the A19 Pro.

The A20 Pro's architecture includes two super cores running at up to 4.93 GHz and four efficiency cores, providing a 50% increase in memory bandwidth.
