The ISO Nightshade SMG received a slight damage buff, while the PPSH, Krait P68, Han 86, and Hyeon Burst were also improved. However, the M4 Hurricane variant faced a nerf, with its damage decreased. Infinity Ward acknowledged that the TTK was previously too fast, leading to divisive feedback during the first beta weekend.

“We feel that TTK on average is much closer to where we wanted it to be after Weekend 1,” Infinity Ward stated, emphasizing their commitment to refining weapon balance. Despite these changes, some players still feel the game is too slow, with comments like, “I personally think it is too slow,” and “They utterly ruined that with Weekend 2.”
Conversely, others appreciate the current pace, indicating a split in community sentiment. The beta officially ends on September 1 at 10am PT, giving Infinity Ward over a month to analyze feedback and implement further adjustments before the game launches on October 23.
“The update buffed the ISO Nightshade SMG and Hyeon Burst, while nerfing the M4 Hurricane. Players like JGOD and Doughnuts argue the TTK is now too slow, but the beta ends Sept. 1, giving Infinity Ward over a month to adjust before the Oct. 23 launch.”
