Chennai-based startup Solinas Integrity has raised $5.5 million in a Series A1 funding round co-led by Mela Ventures and Hero Enterprise Family Office. The funding will be utilized to expand manufacturing capacity, accelerate product development, and strengthen software infrastructure as the company aims to enhance its AI-powered robotics for water infrastructure.13
Founded in 2018, Solinas Integrity develops robotic and deeptech solutions for inspection and maintenance challenges across critical infrastructure. The company’s products include the Endobot family of pipeline-inspection robots and the HomoSEP mechanised sanitation system, which are designed to identify leaks, cracks, and blockages while minimizing worker exposure to hazardous environments.48
The latest funding round also saw participation from the Luthra Group and follow-on investments from existing backers such as SVL SME Fund, Rainmatter Capital, and 8X Ventures Fund I. Divanshu Kumar, co-founder and CEO, along with co-founder and CTO Moinak Banerjee, lead the company, which has already deployed its technology in at least 35 cities across 15 states in India.
