- The price of the yellow metal in India's retail market, on the other hand, declined and remained volatile. Both 24-karat and 22-karat gold rates are showing a marginal decline across major cities.

Gold prices in India have seen a decline as international markets experience a rise, with 24K gold priced at ₹142,410 in New Delhi and silver at ₹217,830. This drop in domestic prices comes despite a 0.9% increase in spot gold prices globally, attributed to a pause in hostilities between the United States and Iran, which has led to a decrease in crude oil prices and eased inflation concerns ahead of the US interest rate decision this week.
In contrast, the 22K gold rate in New Delhi is at ₹130,543 per 10 grams, while in Mumbai, it stands at ₹142,660 for 24K and ₹130,772 for 22K. Bengaluru's rates are slightly higher, with 24K gold at ₹142,750 and 22K at ₹130,854. Kolkata's prices are also competitive, with 24K gold at ₹142,450 and 22K at ₹130,579.
Silver prices have also dropped in the domestic bullion market, with 999 Fine silver priced at ₹217,830 in New Delhi, ₹218,210 in Mumbai, and ₹218,560 in Bengaluru. The overall trend indicates a volatile market for gold and silver in India, reflecting the fluctuations in the international market.15
