The international market saw gold prices hit their highest levels in over three months, supported by a subdued dollar and anticipation of key US inflation data. Spot gold was up 0.5% at $4,627.42 per ounce, while US gold futures edged 0.1% higher to $4,683.80.23
In contrast, silver prices declined in the domestic market, with rates at ₹246,720 per kg in New Delhi, ₹247,150 in Mumbai, and ₹246,390 in Kolkata.45

Meanwhile, fuel prices remained steady across India, with petrol priced above ₹100 per litre in Delhi at ₹102.12 and ₹111.21 in Mumbai. Diesel prices also held steady, with ₹95.20 in Delhi and ₹99.82 in Mumbai.
The stability in fuel prices comes despite fluctuations in global oil prices, influenced by the ongoing geopolitical situation and the rupee-dollar exchange rate, which affects the cost of imported crude oil.
