The company, founded by CEO Pim de Witte in October 2025 as a spinout from the Medal platform, aims to develop a general-purpose AI model for robotics.
The funding will support enhancements to its foundational model, computing infrastructure, and hiring specialists.
"Investor demand exceeds the amount of funding General Intuition had planned to raise," a source revealed.

New investors include Valor Equity Partners, Point72 Ventures, and Seven Seven Six, while existing backers Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst are also participating.34
The startup has already partnered with CoreWeave for AI computing capacity, utilizing hundreds of millions of hours of gameplay data for its model's training.
"This type of data can help models transfer acquired skills to new tasks for which they were not trained directly," said Vinod Khosla, emphasizing the potential of their approach.
