- Four people have appeared in court charged with murdering a newborn baby in Wincobank.

Four individuals, including two men and two women, have been charged with the murder of a newborn girl in Wincobank, Sheffield. The infant, referred to as "Baby S", was found fatally injured after emergency services responded to a call on August 30 at Hollywell Heights.
The accused, all Slovakian nationals, face multiple charges including causing or allowing the death of a child and perverting the course of justice by attempting to conceal the killing. The individuals charged are: Andrea Skopova, 20, Peter Horvath Jnr, 19, Nina Horvathova, 37, and Peter Horvath Snr, 38. Additionally, a 15-year-old girl has been charged with perverting the course of justice but cannot be named for legal reasons.
All five appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court and were remanded in custody, with a subsequent appearance scheduled at Sheffield Crown Court. Two other women, aged 26 and 37, who were arrested on suspicion of murder, remain on bail.
