Fat Fender Garage has introduced the GT/FX, a heavily modified 1956 Ford F-100, at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. This restomod combines classic aesthetics with modern performance, featuring a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine boosted by a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger, producing 800 horsepower and 750 pound-feet of torque.12

The GT/FX is built on a custom ladder frame chassis, with a hand-fabricated all-steel body that has undergone significant modifications, including a flattened roof and hood and widened fenders for an aggressive stance. The original grille remains the only untouched exterior component, while custom running boards and a rear diffuser from a Mustang GT350 enhance its sporty look.4
Power is transmitted through a 10-speed automatic transmission to 20-inch HRE wheels fitted with Toyo Proxes Sport 2 tires. The interior features a custom black leather setup with modern amenities, including bucket seats and a discreetly integrated screen.

The entire project took 15,000 hours of meticulous design, engineering, and fabrication, showcasing the extensive capabilities of Fat Fender Garage. While a price has not been disclosed, the investment in craftsmanship suggests it will be a premium offering.
“The GT/FX rides on Fat Fender Garage's own FF1 Performance Coilover Chassis, designed to give the vintage truck handling like a modern supercar. The original grille is the only major exterior part left untouched, with a custom steel body and hand-fabricated wide arches reshaping the F-100's proportions.”
