Ottawa County Sheriff's Capt. Jake Sparks confirmed that firefighters entered the smoke-filled residence on Riverside Trail, where they found the deceased.
Firefighters first responded around 8:30 a.m. after reports of smoke but could not locate the source until a second call shortly before 11:45 a.m. reported white smoke from the home.
Investigators have declared the fire suspicious, believing it was intentionally set.
Upcoming autopsies will determine the official causes of death, whether from gunshot wounds, fire, or smoke inhalation.
