- Eco Wave Power's U.S. subsidiary has entered into an agreement with Germany-based AI engineering GmbH to develop a digital twin platform for its wave energy technology, according to a press release statement.
- The companies have commenced Phase 1 of the project, which will focus on digitally modeling how ocean waves interact with Eco Wave Power’s floaters.
- Using AI engineering’s PAMICS simulation technology, the companies will evaluate floater behavior, structural loads and theoretical energy input under different sea conditions.
- During 2026, Eco Wave Power’s technology was featured in keynote presentations by NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang.
- Eco Wave Power U.S. also joined the NVIDIA Inception program, which supports startups in AI and deep learning.
Eco Wave Power Global AB has signed an agreement with AI engineering GmbH to create a Digital Twin platform for its wave energy technology, marking a significant step in harnessing AI for renewable energy.
The collaboration aims to integrate physics-based simulation with real-world data, enhancing the understanding of how ocean waves interact with Eco Wave's floaters.
Phase 1 of the project is currently underway, focusing on modeling floater behavior, structural loads, and energy input under various sea conditions using AI engineering’s PAMICS simulation technology.
“For us, AI is not simply a software layer that we add to our technology—it is an opportunity to fundamentally improve how we understand, design, predict and ultimately operate wave energy systems,” said Inna Braverman, Founder and CEO of Eco Wave Power.

The project will also develop machine-learning capabilities for forecasting energy yield and system loads, with the goal of adapting the digital twin to different project locations.

The partnership follows Eco Wave Power's recent advancements in AI, including participation in the NVIDIA Inception program and features in keynote presentations by NVIDIA's CEO.
“As our projects grow from pilot installations toward megawatt-scale deployment, we believe Digital Twins and AI can help us learn faster, optimize more efficiently and transfer knowledge from one project to the next,” Braverman concluded.
