The Eco Kranti Shubh Labh 1.0 National Summit, held on July 18 and 19 at The Art of Living International Centre in Bengaluru, showcased over 250 startups and attracted leading venture capitalists. The summit aimed to prevent 1,000 tonnes of single-use plastic waste over the next two years, building on a movement that has already reached 10,000 households and prevented nearly 200 tonnes of plastic waste.134
Organized by the Sri Sri Rural Development Programme (SSRDP) in collaboration with Startup India and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), the summit received more than 900 entries and featured live pitching sessions, mentorship programs, and panel discussions. Devang Vora, Founder of Eco Kranti, emphasized the initiative's commitment to nurturing at least 1,000 high-impact startups by 2030 across various sectors including sustainability, rural development, and waste management.2

The event also highlighted the growing impact of the Eco Kranti movement, which focuses on climate technology, circular economy, and green manufacturing. Notable venture capitalists such as Utpal Doshi and Ravin Bhadja participated as jury members and mentors, further strengthening the country's impact entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The summit's focus on sustainability and innovation reflects a broader commitment to addressing environmental challenges and fostering a culture of eco-friendly entrepreneurship in India.
