Denza's Z electric supercar has made a striking debut, featuring a tri-motor setup that delivers 1582bhp and 915lb ft of torque. The Coupé accelerates from 0-62mph in 2.25 seconds, while the Racing variant achieves this in an astonishing 1.96 seconds.12
The Z's top speeds are equally impressive, with the Coupé and Spider reaching 186mph, and the Racing variant hitting 217mph. All models are equipped with magnetorehological suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes, ensuring superior handling and stopping power.
A 76kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery provides a range of 254 miles for the Coupé, 248 miles for the Spider, and 236 miles for the Racing. The Z also features BYD's 'Flash' charging technology, allowing for a 10-97% recharge in just nine minutes on a suitable fast connection.
Pricing starts at £142,900 for the Coupé, £159,900 for the Spider, and £172,900 for the Racing. Orders will open in October, with deliveries expected by year-end. The Z aims to challenge established supercar brands with its performance and pricing, offering 60% more power than a Bugatti Veyron at a competitive price point.3
