Delhi Airport will cancel approximately 114 flights daily from June 15 to September 15 to facilitate a major runway upgrade aimed at enhancing safety during the winter fog season.

"DIAL wants the upgradation to be completed before the October-December festival season kicks off as it is immediately followed by winters, when fog-related disruptions are a regular affair at the Delhi airport."
