Emergency services are on high alert, with the Central Okanagan Emergency Management expanding evacuation orders due to increased fire activity. Properties in Caesars Landing are now under an evacuation order, while residents in Shelter Cove, Secret Point, and Cinnabar Creek are on alert.
The Quilpituk Creek wildfire continues to spread northwest, driven by steep terrain. Crews have established a sprinkler line and are conducting danger tree assessments around the fire perimeter.111213

As of now, “no structures are immediately threatened,” according to officials, but the situation remains fluid as the fire continues to grow.
