The device will run on Android 17 and includes software updates through Android 20, along with five years of security updates, all at no additional cost.

"When we announced Communicator in January, we promised 8GB of RAM and a 4,000mAh battery. You're getting 12GB of RAM and 4,350mAh," said a Clicks Technology representative.

The phone, priced at $499 until September 30, will increase to $649 after that date. Mass production is set to begin in December, with shipments expected shortly thereafter.

Users can log into their Clicks account to select their device's color, keyboard layout, and accessories. The Communicator is sold unlocked, allowing users to utilize their existing carrier's nano SIM or eSIM.

The device also features a physical keyboard, a 4.03” AMOLED display, and a 50-megapixel main camera.34

Clicks has partnered with dbrand for accessories, including a new case and screen protector designed specifically for the Communicator.

Clicks Care, offering two years of coverage including accidental damage, will be available for $129 in the US and Canada.
