Eight people were killed in a plane crash near the Cape Newenham Long Range Radar Site in Alaska on Thursday afternoon. The crash occurred around 12:15 p.m. local time shortly after the charter aircraft departed from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport en route to Cape Newenham, according to a preliminary report from the FAA.1
