“Consumer-to-consumer commerce is increasingly becoming a way for people to own products they may not otherwise buy new,” said Parth Sarthi, co-founder of Vingo. The platform combines identity verification, community-led discovery, and escrow-backed payments to address trust issues between buyers and sellers.
Research and Markets estimates that India’s recommerce market will reach $5.91 billion by 2026 and grow to $8.61 billion by 2030, indicating a significant opportunity for Vingo as it seeks to capitalize on this growing trend.
