Brabus has launched the Bodo, a stunning 1,000-hp V-12 grand tourer based on the Aston Martin Vanquish, commemorating the company’s roots with a limited production run of just 77 vehicles.

Under the hood, the Bodo is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 delivering 1,000 horsepower and 885 pound-feet of torque. Despite its hefty weight of 4,211 pounds, the car accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in a mere three seconds and reaches a top speed of 224 mph.

The car not only showcases modern engineering but retains a classic appeal, described as a “leather-lined sledgehammer” with a traditional grand tourer layout. Designed to handle the substantial power, it relies on 325-section-width ZR-rated tires at the rear.

The Brabus Bodo, named in honor of the company's late founder, aligns with Brabus's legacy of creating exquisite performance cars over nearly 50 years. The base Aston Martin Vanquish is subtly but powerfully transformed by Brabus engineers to push performance to nearly 1,000 hp for a unique driving experience. The luxury of this performance comes at a premium, with the cost reaching approximately $1.16 million.
