Bengaluru weather shift from 11 June: dry skies and steady 32°C heat ahead

Bengaluru's weather is set to shift from a mix of warm days and intermittent showers to drier conditions starting June 11. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts that the city will move from generally cloudy skies with light rain to partly cloudy, dry weather.

On June 6, Bengaluru recorded a maximum temperature of 31.6°C, slightly above the seasonal average, with a minimum of 22.2°C early that morning. This reflects the warm conditions experienced as the southwest monsoon began.

From June 11 onwards, the city is expected to see steady daytime temperatures around 32°C with no rain expected, marking a clear shift to dry skies. The partly cloudy conditions will replace the earlier intermittent showers, providing relief from the monsoon's initial wet phase.

"From 11 June onwards, Bengaluru’s weather is expected to take a drier turn," the IMD noted, highlighting the transition in weather patterns.

This change will bring more stable and predictable weather, beneficial for residents and outdoor activities, as the city moves away from the early monsoon variability.
