All models will be locally assembled at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen Group plant in Maharashtra, marking a significant step in Audi's strategy to increase its market share from 8% to between 16% and 18% within three years. The Q3 will feature a 204bhp, 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and standard Quattro all-wheel drive, along with advanced tech like an 11.9-inch digital driver's display and a 12.8-inch touchscreen.
The A5, set to replace the aging A4, will be larger and more sophisticated, featuring a new architecture and an optional passenger-side touchscreen display. The Q9, Audi's new flagship SUV, will be over 5.3 metres long, offering a three-row layout and powered by a petrol engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Audi's ambitious roadmap also includes plans for a revamped retail network and a growing pre-owned business under the Audi Approved Plus umbrella, aiming to capitalize on India's growing appetite for luxury vehicles.
The company is also set to introduce the next-gen Q5 and Q7 by 2027, along with the Q6 e-tron, its first EV to be assembled in India.
