“Indian Missions and Posts remain vigilant and closely monitor any untoward incidents affecting Indian nationals abroad,” stated Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh, emphasizing the government's commitment to ensuring the safety of its citizens.
Other countries reporting significant violence include Ireland, Russia, and Germany, with 24, 23, and 19 cases, respectively. Notably, Mali recorded 11 attacks in 2025, despite having no reported incidents in the previous four years.8
