Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone Duo, its first foldable smartphone, featuring a dual rear-camera setup and a design akin to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8. The device is powered by the A20 Pro chip, which offers up to 35% higher sustained performance compared to the iPhone 17 Pro.
Starting at $1,999 for 256GB, the iPhone Duo supports storage options up to 2TB. Preorders will begin on October 16, with availability set for October 23. The device is eSIM-only, allowing for two batteries, enhancing its design and functionality.
The iPhone Duo features a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer display, providing a large canvas for multitasking and content viewing. It supports 4K Dolby Vision HDR and includes a 48MP Fusion camera system, ensuring high-quality photography.

In addition to the iPhone Duo, Apple introduced the iPhone 18 Pro starting at $1,199 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at $1,299. The new Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 maintain their starting prices at $400 and $800, respectively, with preorders available now.
