The iPad Pro is expected to incorporate a vapor chamber cooling system for better heat management during intensive tasks, likely powered by the new M6 chip.
Meanwhile, the entry-level iPad will reportedly gain Apple Intelligence support with an upgrade to the A19 chip and will include the N1 wireless networking chip with Wi-Fi 7 support.

Gurman noted that the entry-level iPad will be the first to receive this upgrade since early 2025, enhancing its capabilities significantly.
The iPad Pro's price is expected to rise, with the base model likely starting around $799-899.
As per Gurman, Apple is not anticipated to introduce major updates in the latter half of 2027 unless there are delays in the planned launches.
