Air India Express commences operations from Bhopal with daily flights to Delhi and Mumbai; expands routes and strengthens Madhya Pradesh connectivity

Air India Express officially commenced operations from Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal on August 3, 2026, launching two daily flights to Delhi and one to Mumbai.¹²⁵⁶

The inaugural flight to Delhi departed at 12:45 hrs, arriving at Indira Gandhi International Airport at 14:15 hrs, while the first flight to Mumbai left at 13:40 hrs, landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 15:25 hrs.

With this launch, Air India Express now operates approximately 55 weekly flights across Bhopal, Gwalior, and Indore, further enhancing connectivity in Madhya Pradesh.⁷⁸

The airline recently introduced direct flights between Indore and Abu Dhabi, expanding its international presence.
