Authorities are investigating the death of actress Hayden Panettiere, whose autopsy revealed no signs of trauma. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office stated, “The cause and manner of death remain pending further investigation and the completion of additional studies.”12
First responders were called to a Greenville residence at about 1:51 p.m. Sunday for an unresponsive woman. Panettiere was found in cardiac arrest and emergency medical personnel performed advanced cardiac life support measures, but resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m.
The preliminary investigation has not indicated signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances. Panettiere’s representative confirmed her death, stating, “It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden.” Her father, Alan Panettiere, described her as “an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her.”
