Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is undergoing a significant transformation, establishing new Global Business Units to sharpen its focus on AI-led initiatives.
“We are witnessing profound shifts in our industry driven by AI, changing client expectations, platform modernisation, and new operating models,” said CEO K Krithivasan.
The newly formed ‘Autonomous Business Operations’ unit aims to enhance sales strategies tailored to AI-driven processes, as clients seek to improve productivity and resilience.
“Autonomous Business Operations is emerging as a significant opportunity for TCS,” noted COO Aarthi Subramanian, highlighting the need for integrated client engagement.
Additionally, TCS has carved out a Travel, Transport & Hospitality (TTH) segment, appointing Arun Pradeep as its head, and established a dedicated group for US West Coast operations, focusing on technology and AI growth.4
The reorganization also includes leadership changes across eight business units, with Susheel Vasudevan moving to a strategic role and the BFSI Americas unit being split into two groups.8
“The new business group will focus on deepening client relationships,” Krithivasan stated, emphasizing the importance of adapting to market needs.
