The commission comprises 44 global leaders from various sectors, including government and business, who will work together to create practical pathways for expanding access to AI technologies and strengthening trust in their applications. The inaugural meeting is set for July 7 to 10, 2026, during the ITU's AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland.4
'One thing is certain: Technology is supposed to be a force for good, and we have a responsibility to use it accordingly,' stated President Kagame, emphasizing the ethical implications of AI.
