HUMAIN and Applied Intuition are set to revolutionize logistics in Saudi Arabia by creating the world’s largest autonomous trucking fleet by 2030. This partnership aims to deploy thousands of autonomous trucks across key logistics corridors, marking a significant step in the kingdom's ambition to integrate physical AI into its infrastructure.1257
The collaboration was announced at the LEAP technology conference in Riyadh, where HUMAIN's CEO, Tareq Amin, emphasized the transformative potential of autonomous trucking. “Autonomous trucking will change the economics of moving goods and people,” he stated. “Thousands of autonomous trucks operating around the clock can transform the speed, cost, and capacity of our logistics network.”46
Applied Intuition will provide its Self-Driving System (SDS), which is already operational on Level 4 trucks in the U.S., Europe, and Japan. This technology will serve as the foundation for the autonomous logistics network, which will also extend to robotaxis, ports, mining, manufacturing, agriculture, and construction.
