Govinda has not authorized anyone to use his likeness or voice through artificial intelligence or other digital technologies.9
The warning follows recent social media claims about Govinda's alleged court marriage with Komal Rani Swarnkar and the withdrawal of Sunita's divorce petition from the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai. Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, confirmed that the divorce case, which had been ongoing for two years, is now resolved. Sinha stated, “It has been going on for two years, but it’s finally over now.”
Govinda's notice also indicates that he may pursue civil and criminal proceedings under relevant laws, including the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. He expressed concerns that the rumors could be part of a deliberate attempt to damage his reputation and cause him mental distress.7
