Georgia school districts are on high alert as bomb threats prompted class cancellations in Jackson County and Hall County, coinciding with a statewide heat advisory.112

The Hall County Sheriff's Office is also investigating a similar threat directed at Cherokee Bluff High School, stating, “The threat appears to be similar to those received overnight at schools in Jackson County.”6
