GapMinder is spearheading a seed funding round for Lasken AI, a Croatian healthtech startup, in collaboration with Fil Rouge Capital. This funding will bolster Lasken AI's proprietary healthcare data platform, which transforms publicly available healthcare information into structured datasets for pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations.123457

Founded by Patric Jarchow and Leonard Unger, Lasken AI aims to connect 400,000 healthcare organizations in Germany and expand to approximately 2.5 million across Europe by 2026. The platform provides actionable intelligence, enabling clients to make informed decisions without the burden of managing complex datasets.

“Healthcare is one of the largest and most complex industries in the world, yet many critical commercial decisions are still made using fragmented and outdated information,” said Cosmin Ochișor, Partner at GapMinder. “We believe Lasken AI is building the infrastructure needed to transform how healthcare organizations understand markets.”

The initial focus will be on the German market, with plans to penetrate Europe’s five largest pharmaceutical markets. “This fund allows us to accelerate our mission across Europe and help healthcare organizations navigate increasingly complex markets,” stated Patric Jarchow, Co-founder and CEO of Lasken AI.

With a total capitalization of EUR 50 million, GapMinder has previously invested in various tech startups and aims to support Lasken AI's growth trajectory in the coming years.

“After backing Lasken’s pre-seed round, we are pleased to see our friends at GapMinder to carry the torch,” remarked Stevica Kuharski, Partner at Fil Rouge Capital.
